Events & Festivals in Hong Kong
There is a plethora of events taking place throughout the year in Hong Kong. Amongst the most notable are traditional Chinese Festivals that literally transform the city into a fusion of colours, fireworks, music and parades with dragon dancers. For the prospective visitor this is an ideal time to visit Hong Kong. Unsurprisingly, these are the busiest seasons of the year for travelling to Hong Kong. Thus it is strongly advisable to book travel and accommodation long in advance to avoid costly fares or even unavailability.
