Sightseeing in Kowloon
Despite occupying a considerably small part of Hong Kong, Kowloon (九龍) is suited for great tourist excursions and sightseeing to its prospective visitors. The etymology of Kowloon is "nine dragons", representing the eight peaks in Hong Kong; the ninth peak symbolises the Emperor of China.
The highlight in this region is undoubtedly shopping, but there are heaps of attractions suitable for sightseeing. The Avenue of Stars in the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront is just an example of a cosmopolitan attraction that can be found in Kowloon.
