Hong Kong Public Transport

Hong Kong's public transport comprises of rail, buses, trams, taxis and ferries:

Mass transit rail provides fast and convenient commuter services throughout the Hong Kong region.

Buses and minibuses provide an alternative to rail, reaching more outskirt areas. Most are air-conditioned and fares are relatively cheap.

Taxis are ideally suited for shorter distances. Taxi services are available throughout the three main Hong Kong regions, distinguishable by different colours.

Ferries are buzzing in and out Hong Kong's port, with routes to Outlying Islands, Macau and nearby China regions.
